Parts of
speech –কি/কাকেবলে?
একটিবাক্যেরঅর্থপূর্ণপ্রত্যেকটিঅংশকেএকএকটি Parts of Speech বলে ।
Each meaningful part
/word of a sentence is called parts of speech.
একটি বাক্য
লক্ষ্য করলে বুজতে পারবেন।
He is a very brilliant
student. এই বাক্যটিতে ৬ টি অংশ রয়েছে। প্রত্যেকটি অংশ এক
একটি Parts of Speech.
যেমনঃ He একটি Pronoun, IS একটি Verb, A একটি Adjective, Very একটি Adverb, brilliant ও একটি Adjective,
Student একটি Noun.
Kinds of parts of speech
There are 8 types of
parts of speech.
1. Noun
2. Pronoun
3. Adjective
4. Verb
5. Adverb
6. Preposition
7. Conjunction
8. Interjection.

Noun: যে Word
দ্বারা কোন কিছুর নাম
বোঝাই তাকে Noun বলে।
A noun is a naming word.
Kamal is a good student.
I have some books.
Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh.
Honesty is a great virtue.
Walking is a good exercise.
উপরের বাক্য
গুলোতে Kamalহলো একজন বাক্তির নাম। Book
হলো বস্তুর নাম। Dhaka হলো একটি স্থান
এর নাম। Bangladesh হলো একটি দেশের নাম। Honesty ও Virtue হলো গুনের নাম। Walking হলো কাজের নাম।
সুতরাং
প্রত্যেকটি এক একটি noun.

Pronoun: Pro শব্দের
অর্থ পরিবর্তে আর Noun শব্দের অর্থ নাম। সুতরাং যে Word Noun এর পরিবর্তে বসে তাই Pronoun.
A pronoun is a
substituting word.
Manna is a good boy.
He goes to
school regularly.
He completes his lesson regularly.
His father is a business man.
উপরের বাক্য
গুলোতে He and His Manna এর পরিবর্তে বসেছে।
তাই, এগুলো Pronoun.

I, me, we, us, you,
yours, she, her, he, him, it, they, them, this, that, these, those, who, which,
that, somebody etc.

যে Word দ্বারা Noun বা Pronoun এর দোষ ,গুণ ,অবস্থা,সংখ্যা ,পরিমাণ ইত্যাদি বোঝায় তাকে Adjective
বলে।
An adjective is a word
that qualifies the meaning of a noun or a pronoun.
সুতরাং Noun বা Pronoun k বিশেষিত করাই Adjective এর কাজ।
Razzak is honest.এই বাক্যে honest শব্দটি RazzakNounটির গুণ প্রকাশ করছে। সুতরাং Honest একটি adjective.
Rohim is poor.এই বাক্যে poor শব্দটি Rohim Noun এর অবস্থা বোঝাচ্ছে। So,
Poor একটি Adjective.

Verb: সাধারনত যে Word দ্বারা কোন কাজ করা বোঝায়
তাকে Verb বলে।
A verb is a word that
denotes action in any form.
He eats mango.
We play football.
They go to
college.
উপরের বাক্য
গুলতে eats,play এবং go দ্বারা কাজ করা বোঝাচ্ছে ।সুতরাং eats , play এবং
go হচ্ছেverb.

Adverb: যে Word Verb, Adjective অথবা অন্য কোন Adverb
k বিশেষিত করে তাকে Adverb বলে।
An adverb is a word used
to add something to the meaning of a verb, an adjective or another adverb.
Kamal is very
brilliant.
She walks slowly.
He comes here.
I will go to Dhaka tomorrow.
উপরের sentence গুলোতে very, slowly,
here এবং tomorrow
যথাক্রমে কেমন, কিভাবে, কোথায় ও কখন ইত্যাদি অর্থ প্রকাশ করে তাই
এগুলো adverb.
‘Only’Adverb হিসেবে
ব্যাবহিত হলেও এটা Noun / Pronoun k modify করে।
Only Allah can save us.
Only they can play well.
প্রথম sentence এ only Allah word
means noun কে এবং second sentence এ only they means pronoun k modify করছে।

Preposition:
pre অর্থ পূর্বে এবং Position অর্থ
অবস্থান । সুতরাং Preposition অর্থ পূর্বে অবস্থান।
যে Word Noun বা Pronoun এর পূর্বে বসে ঐ Noun বা Pronoun এর সাথে ব্যাক্যের অন্যান্য Word এর সম্পর্ক
গড়ে তলে তাকে Preposition বলে।
The book is on the
table.
The cat is under
the tree.
উপরের বাক্য
দুটিতে on এবং under Table এবং Tree এর সাথে সম্পর্ক তৈরি করছে।
কিছু বহুল
ব্যবাহিত preposition:
In, on, at, under, of,
for, from, with, without, from, by up, about etc.
I am a
student and I go to school regularly.
Do or
die.
উপরের sentence দুটিতে and এবং or দুটি clause কে
যুক্ত করেছে। সুতরাং এরা conjunction.
কিছু conjunction: and, but,
or, if, though, both etc.
Interjection:
যে word দ্বারা মনের আনন্দ, দুঃখ, বিষাদ,
বিস্ময় প্রকাশ পায় তাকে Interjection বলে।
Alas! His father
is dead.
Hurrah! We have won
the game.
Alas শব্দটি
দ্বারা দুঃখ এবং Hurrah শব্দটি দ্বারা আনন্দ বোঝায়। সুতরাং এগুলো Interjection.
আলহামদুলিল্লাহ। দৈনিক ৫ ওয়াক্ত নামাজ আদায় করুন।
